What Can WATCH Offer?

WATCH is constantly evolving as a service, ensuring that the needs of its participants are foremost in all planning that takes place from Committee level to the day to day activities that occur.

Programs are constantly being added to the list to reflect peoples’ changing needs such as the Seniors Group which caters for our ageing client population, or programs which have a sensory focus for those people with vision or auditory challenges. All programs are evaluated for relevance and interest once a year and any new

programs that are introduced are trialed by staff and clients for suitability.

Since 2004 staff have undergone training in the areas of Person Centred Planning and Community Inclusion to ensure WATCH continues to meet the needs of participants and to promote and deliver a service in line with the directions of the Disability Act 2006 and the Department of Health and Human Services Standards and the NDIS rules and guidelines.

Watch acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of the land and acknowledges and pays respect to the Elders, past and present.
